Procedure

❗️RULE *1st Preliminary Round - HIPHOP, WAACKING, LOCKING: Point system, 45-second time limit, 3-circle competition   (Top 7 from each circle advance to the 2nd preliminary round) - POPPING, OPENSTYLE, KIDS, YOUTH: Point system, 45-second time limit, 5-circle competition   (Top 5 from each circle advance to the 2nd preliminary round) *2nd Preliminary Round - HIPHOP, WAACKING, LOCKING, POPPING, OPENSTYLE, KIDS, YOUTH  : Point system, 45-second time limit ▸HIPHOP, WAACKING (Top 12 from each HIPHOP and WAACKING advance to the final round) ▸LOCKING, OPENSTYLE (Top 15 advance to the final round) ▸POPPING (Top 14 advance to the final round) ▸KIDS, YOUTH (Top 12 from each (7 players will advance to the finals) In the event of a tie, a 2.5-round preliminary round will be held (time limit: 40 seconds). *Finals Rules - HIPHOP / WAACKING / OPENSTYLE: Round of 16 - 1 MOVE per minute / Quarterfinals to Finals - 2 MOVEs per minute - LOCKING / POPPING: Round of 16 (1 MOVE per minute), the 8 players advancing to the quarterfinals will battle in a "7 to smoke" format. | 30-minute time limit, 1 MOVE per 40 seconds | The winner is the first player to accumulate 7 wins. | The player with the most points after the time limit is exceeded wins. - KIDS & YOUTH: Quarterfinals to Semifinals - 2 MOVEs per minute per team / Finals - 4 MOVEs per team per minute (Teams will be selected by lottery before the finals.) * All side finals music will be copyrighted music registered with KBS and copyright issues resolved. Please note this when applying. ❗How to Apply Download the HYPETOWN app ➡️Log in ➡️Battle Lineup Application  Participation Fee: 1 genre 70,000 won, 2 genres 100,000 won, 3 genres 120,000 won              50,000 won for Kids & Youth only (30,000 won for Lineup Battles) * Participants can watch both Lineup Battles (indoor) for free. (Separate application required for Kids & Youth) * Refunds are available until May 15th, but fees will be deducted based on the HYPETOWN app. * Transfers are only possible through the Hypetown app (individual transfers are not permitted). ⏰ Application Period Applications Open: Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 23:00 (KST) Application Deadline: Thursday, May 15, 2025 *Registration may close early.
